It was only when the French people found this place in 1880s, Cao Son became the best place to observe the vista of Lao Cai province. The relics now in the area are: former observation point, Titan mountain, Tung Chung Sang mountain.

1, How to get there?
By road: Taking the road from Hanoi to Lao Cai city about 310km then turn right with the board of Coc Ly. The mountainous way will last for almost 50km yet beautiful to continue. You can also get to Lao Cai city then taking a bus to Muong Khuong town then.
By train: The best suggestion is to take to the Cao Son Express ( part of Cao Son Ecolodge services), alternative will be Fansipan, King Express then taking a bus/ car from the station to Cao Son ( 80km)
