1, Winter 2009 campaign:
Warmer winter for local people in Muong Khuong

Located by the China border, Muong Khuong is home to 14 ethnic groups. The region is rated poor among 8 districts in Lao Cai province. The mountainous life here becomes tough with cold winter and poor living conditions, especially in remote areas.

In order to make the winter for local people warmer, Cao Son Eco-lodge have launched a winter campaign for old clothes donation.
We do appreciate  travellers, travel agencies in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Sapa to join us in this campaign.

Donation will be in: Sau Di Pin village ( Ta Thang commune)
                            Xa Lung Cheng village ( Cao Son commune)
                            Sin Chai A village ( La Pan Tan commune)

Letter from Cao Son Lodge about this campaign:
" On behalf of Cao Son lodge and local people, I would like to express our thankfulness to Ciao Travel, Hai Ve Nu travel, Pole-star travel and many of my tour guides, my friends who had participated in the clothing donation campaign.
We have done well to distribute the clothes to the village of Sau Di Pin, Xa Lung Cheng and La Pan Tan. We also transferred some of the donation to the secluded villages.
The local people are now enjoying a better winter here thanks to your support."

2, Summer 2010 campain:

Teaching volunteer in summer
This campaign aims to create a good place for children to enjoy in summer as they need to know more about the nature and the environment. The campaign will last for 01 month to teach students how to be a good conservative in the furture as well games to entertain in their free time.
Cao Son travel will be pleased to send our tour guide to join you in these activities.

3, Tree planting 2010 - 2011
With the support of local people and organizations, Pole-star travel ( the owner of Cao Son ecolodge) had called for the support from partners, travel agencies and customers to join hand for this campaign.
Activity: planting trees on the 2 sides of the road from Muong Khuong town to Ta Thang village ( 38km).
Support: trees, materials, fertiliser from the local government<
Labour: students from schools will join this activities.
Money: apr 10 000 usd. The total amount of the money will be transferred directly to the schools whose students plant trees. All will become the scholarship for students.
